Membership Terms & Conditions

In order to participate our Programs, you must become a Miniso member. Miniso Membership is limited to individuals only and limited to one account per individual. No purchase is necessary to become a member. Miniso Membership is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You must be 15 years or older to be eligible for membership. Eligible minors must obtain their parent’s or legal guardian’s consent prior to participation. Your parent or legal guardian must agree to be bound by and is in compliance with these Terms and Conditions. By being in the Programs, you certify that you are at least 15 years old. Additionally, participants in the Programs must: (1) have a valid Canadian mobile phone number. (2) have an active, valid E-mail address; and (3) be a natural person. Corporations, groups, and other business entities are not eligible to participate nor are technological beings or entities, regardless of their definition under common law.

You may not use the Programs for any purpose that intentionally or unintentionally violates these Terms and Conditions, be it in letter or spirit. This includes but is not limited to any actions that: a) may result in damage to the Programs or MINISO; (b) is defamatory, abusive, obscene, suggestive, harassing, threatening, inflammatory, fraudulent, or similarly unacceptable; (c) is linked to the commercial resale of MINISO products without explicit prior written consent from MINISO; and (d) attempts to or actually interrupts the operations of the Program or MINISO business. Additionally, you may not use the Programs in any way that violates applicable laws, causes damage to any third party and/or infringes on the rights of any third party. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold on to the rights of any third party. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold MINISO, its vendors and service providers, and each of their respective affiliates and employees harmless from and against any actual or threatened demands of any kind or nature arising out of or in connection with your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

You may join the Membership by creating an account with MINISO retail store staff or online through our website here. Personal information such as your name, phone number, E-mail address and birthday are required upon registration. You may receive a digital membership card that is linked to your account at our website. You can also update your personal information through this website at any time. Your member account pertains uniquely to you; it may not be sold, transferred, shared with or assigned to any other party, nor can it be used by you for commercial purposes of any nature. You may not maintain more than one member account; in other words, every person is limited to one member account.

The benefits offered through the MiniFriends Rewards Program are based on “MiniPoints” you earn. At the time of checkout, you must provide our staff with your membership registered phone number, email address, or digital membership number to have any MiniPoints credited to your account.

You will earn MiniPoints based on the value of your purchase at the rate of 1 MiniPoint for each whole dollar ($1.00) of each product in a single transaction before tax at participating MINISO stores. For example, a purchase of $5.50 before tax will earn you 5 points. Fractional amounts are not stored in the system nor are they added to subsequent purchase. Points are rewarded per product, not for the total transaction amount. To illustrate, one transaction of 2 products at $5.50 before tax will earn you 10 points instead of 11 points. A qualifying transaction will only earn points for the member account associated with the registered phone number or email address presented at the time of purchase. Points cannot be combined or shared among other member accounts.

“Participating Miniso Stores” in these terms and conditions refers to all Miniso Stores in Canada, excluding the following locations: In Quebec: 1631 Saint-Catherine St W, Carrefour Angrignon, Alexis Nihon, 475 Saint-Catherine St W, Montreal Eaton Centre; In Manitoba: Polo Park.

When a transaction that accumulated points to your account is returned or voided, MINISO will deduct the applicable MiniPoints from your account balance. Purchases that received discounts from MiniPoints redemption must be returned in full, partial returns will not be accepted. In the event that the number of MiniPoints deducted is equal to or greater than the number of points in your account, the point balance will return to zero.

Your MiniPoints may be redeemed for rewards. Every 60 points equals $1 in discount, applicable towards your purchase total before tax. You are eligible to redeem MiniPoints for a reward only if you have 60 or more MiniPoints in your account. When redeeming MiniPoints for discounts (in terms of dollars off) on purchases, the redeemed amount is applied before tax. For example, on a purchase total of $5.95, 120 MiniPoints (valued at $2) may be redeemed towards the purchase. Rewards can only be redeemed in store at participating MINISO Stores. The value of points is subject to change, at Miniso’s sole and absolute discretion. MiniPoints can be redeemed starting from the next day such points were earned, which means that you cannot redeem the points on the day that you earned them.

To redeem your MiniPoints, members must provide in-store staff with the necessary account information (phone number) and inform them of the desired reward. You cannot redeem for any single time over $50 within one transaction. Each time you redeem a reward, MINISO will remove the corresponding amount of MiniPoints from your account.

Points have no actual cash value and cannot be transferred or sold, and can only be exchanged for rewards. If a particular reward is not fully used when redeemed, the remaining balance of the reward will not be refunded. MiniPoints are deducted at time of reward exchange. MiniPoints follows the same return and exchange policy in store. For returned item that payment is made with MiniPoints, Miniso will reimburse your MiniPoints back to your membership account. For MiniPoints earned by returned item, Miniso will deduct the MiniPoints accordingly from your account. If your remaining MiniPoints are less than deduct MiniPoints, the balance will show negative MiniPoints.

Every MiniPoint will expire in 12 months from the date you earn it. To clarify, if you earn 10 points on August 1st, 2025, and you don’t redeem them on or before July 31st, 2026, at 23:59 PM Pacific Time (Vancouver time), they will be expired and cannot be redeemed with other points later. Miniso Members will be automatically enrolled in Cashback Rewards Program and earn Cashback Rewards on certain purchases at participating Miniso Stores in Canada, as described below.

There are two levels of Cashback Rewards: Silver and Gold levels (“Level(s)”). Achieving Gold Level requires a minimum spend per year, as explained below. All membership levels enjoy a variety of benefits made available by MINISO in its sole discretion from time to time. Benefits may vary by Levels. The rate of Cashback Rewards, type and availability of any benefits will be determined by MINISO in its sole discretion from time to time.

By registering a Miniso Membership account, you will be automatically enrolled in Cashback Rewards at the Silver Level. Subject to removal from the Program in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, a member will remain a Silver member unless the minimum spend required to achieve Gold status is met.

Gold status shall be conferred upon registered members who spend a minimum of $110 (before tax) on fulfilled merchandise orders within any rolling 365-day period. Gold Level shall remain in effect only for as long as the spending requirement is satisfied. In the event that a member fails to requalify for Gold Level, such member shall revert to Silver Level until the spending threshold of $110 (before tax) on fulfilled merchandise orders is again met with a 365-day period.

Cashback Rewards can be earned when you purchase Eligible Merchandise (see below) at participating Miniso Stores. Cashback Rewards is calculated on the before-tax purchase amount (or eligible portion thereof) that you actually paid and is rounded to the nearest cent. To collect Cashback Rewards, you must provide our staff with your membership registered phone number, email address, or digital membership number. Cashback Rewards cannot be combined or shared among other member accounts. If you forget to inform our staff about being a member, you may still be able to earn Cashback Rewards on your qualifying purchase. To request Cashback Rewards on past purchase (“Retroactive Collection”), you can email us at customerservice@miniso.ca with your registered contact or member ID and a copy of your receipt only for purchases within the past 7 days. We may terminate Retroactive Collection at any time without notice.

Cashback Rewards rates are based on the Miniso Membership Level you currently maintain as follows: Silver Level members earn 2% of before-tax purchases of Eligible Merchandise. Gold Level members earn 4% of before-tax purchases of Eligible Merchandise. Collection of Cashback Rewards is capped at, and will not exceed, $25 for each transaction.

Members are also eligible to earn bonus Cashback Rewards, or to earn Cashback Rewards at a promotional rate offered from time to time on the purchase of select items, upon the occurrence of certain events or as part of a promotion or offer, but unless otherwise indicated, bonus Cashback Rewards is awarded only once for a transaction, or for the occurrence of an event, as the case may be. For greater certainty, the rate at which Cashback Rewards can be earned, and the maximum amount can be earned per purchase order, may vary from time to time and is subject to change by MINISO without notice.

All merchandise sold at participating Miniso stores in Canada is Eligible Merchandise except for Excluded Merchandise. As of the date of these terms and conditions, the following items are Excluded Merchandise: gift cards, environmental fees, refundable deposits. We may add or remove goods from the list of Excluded Merchandise from time to time in our sole discretion without notice. For a current list of Excluded Merchandise, please visit the Program Website. In addition, individual Miniso Stores may exclude additional items sold in that store from being Eligible Merchandise.

You will not be able to earn Cashback Rewards on that portion of a transaction for which you redeemed Cashback Rewards or MiniPoint Rewards, applied a discount coupon, paid using a voucher or any other promotional offer, except for amounts paid with gift cards.

Cashback Rewards will be able to be redeemed for merchandise (excluding applicable taxes) at participating Miniso Stores for transactions where you pay at least $10 (before-tax) after applying the selected amount of Cashback Rewards. Cashback Rewards can only be redeemed starting from the next day such Cashback Rewards were earned, which means that you cannot redeem the Cashback Rewards on the day that you earned them. To redeem your Cashback Rewards, members must provide in-store staff with the necessary account information (phone number) and inform them of the desired reward. Please note that our staff may request you to present your digital membership card for redemption or verify your account information by providing email verification code. Each time you redeem, MINISO will remove the corresponding amount of Cashback Rewards from your account.

You cannot redeem any merchandise valued at more than $50.

You cannot redeem your MiniPoints in conjunction with any other promotional vouchers, coupons, codes, discounts or Cashback Rewards on one transaction.

Cashback Rewards cannot be transferred or sold or redeemed for cash. If a particular reward is not fully used when redeemed, the remaining balance of the reward will not be refunded.

You are responsible for all redemptions on your account and MINISO assumes no responsibility for any lost, stolen Cashback Rewards.

Every Cashback Reward will be expired in 30 days from the date you earn it. To clarify, if you earn $10 Cashback Rewards on August 1, 2026, your $10 Cashback Rewards are available for redemption on August 2, 2026 and expire on August 31, 2026 local time. If you find your Cashback Rewards have expired in error, please email us at customerservice@miniso.ca for assistance.

If you return an item for a refund and received Cashback Rewards for that purchase, the corresponding amount of Cashback Rewards will be deducted from your account. Merchandise purchased, in whole or in part, using Cashback Rewards may not be returned in cash; instead, the associated account will be credited with the same amount of Cashback Rewards used in the original purchase.

If a refund or correction is applied, your account balance will be adjusted upward or downward by the amount of the Cashback Rewards related to such refund or correction, as applicable, and your account balance may become negative. If your account Cashback Rewards balance reaches -$25, purchases will no longer be eligible for returns in accordance with our Return & Exchange Policy.

MINISO may, at its own discretion, launch special promotional offers and activities to our customers and members. Such special promotions will be subjected to these Terms and Conditions as well as additional terms and conditions. Special promotions may or may not be distributed to the entire membership program base. MINISO reserves the right to target specific members for eligibility to receive any special promotional offers.

Via the membership webpage, MINISO may provide or require access to third-party content, links to web pages, and any embedded content contained therein. We may also use the services of third parties to make portions of the membership program available to you. The terms and conditions of the respective third-party sites govern your visit to and use of such sites, regardless of having attained access to them via the website or the membership program and including any situations where your membership information is made available to these sites through their access. It is your sole responsibility to determine when you are accessing third-party content or services. MINISO’s provision of any third-party content does not signify endorsement of such content or affiliation with the third party, nor does MINISO make any guarantee of its accuracy, completeness, reliability or suitability. Your participation in the Program signifies agreement that you will not hold MINISO responsible or liable in any manner for any third-party content or services.

MINISO takes your privacy seriously. We also highly encourage you to review our Privacy Policy. Your participation in the membership program signifies your acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms contained in the Privacy Policy. MINISO retains the right to update, at its sole discretion, the content, terms, conditions, policies, and practices contained within the Privacy Policy; all updated versions will become effective upon publishing and will contain their date of publishing for your reference.

Members of MINISO Programs may choose to cancel his or her membership and opt out of the programs by accessing their online account or by contacting MINISO at customerservice@miniso.ca.

Cancellation of your membership will result in the immediate closing of your membership account and the available Cashback Rewards and MiniPoints balance and outstanding Rewards in the member account will expire immediately, not to be reinstituted even if the account is reopened.

To protect your privacy, all account information will be permanently deleted upon cancellation of the membership program. If you choose to re-enroll, you will be required to provide all necessary information again, and your Cashback Rewards balance will reset to zero. Additionally, if an account associated with an email address and/or phone number is cancelled, that same email and/or phone number may not be used to register a new account for 15 days following the date of cancellation.

MINISO may, in its sole discretion, alter, limit, or modify the Program rules, regulations, benefits, Rewards eligibility for Membership, or any other feature of the Programs (including assigning any of its obligations to customers under the Membership at any time to another person or entity, without recourse) or may terminate the Program any time for certain stores or entirely at its sole discretion, by posting any such changes at certain stores or/and on the MINISO CANADA website. Where required by law, MINISO will send you written notice of these changes, not more than 90 days and at least 30 days prior to the effective date of the change, setting out the amended terms and the date of the coming into force of the amendment.

For greater certainty, membership may be terminated by Miniso if any of the following events occur: 1) the Member has failed to comply with any of these terms and conditions, or Miniso determines that the Member has abused the Programs or has made any misrepresentation or false statements to Miniso; 2) the Member dies; 3) Miniso suspects the Member of any fraudulent activity in connection with the Programs, or 4) Miniso has reason to believe that you did not use your membership solely for personal or household purposes.

YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM FOLLOWING SUCH CHANGES CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF ANY AND ALL CHANGES.

MINISO reserves the right to exclude individuals from the Cashback Rewards Program or remove Cashback Rewards from a member’s account in its sole but reasonable discretion. In particular, any abuse, manipulation or “gaming” of the Cashback Rewards Program or its rules (as determined by MINISO), failure to follow any terms of the Cashback Rewards Program, any misrepresentation or any conduct detrimental to the interests of MINISO not otherwise protected by law may subject members to Membership revocation or deduction of Cashback Rewards obtained through these abusive or manipulative activities and will affect eligibility for further participation in the Program. Membership is non-transferable and Membership purchases must be made by the member. If your Membership is revoked or otherwise cancelled, any Cashback Rewards in your account will automatically expire. MINISO reserves the right to make changes on its Website and these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check or review these Terms from time to time to keep informed of any changes. By joining the membership, you hereby agree to be bound by any such changed Terms.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINISO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION OR MEMBERSHIP IN THE PROGRAM. INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF CHANGES TO OR TERMINATION OF THE PROGRAM. THIS IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY THAT APPLIES TO ALL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, INCOME OR PROFIT, LOSS OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LIMITATIONS ON MINISO’S LIABILITY SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL APPLY WHETHER FOR BREACH OR REPUDIATION OF CONTRACT, OR WHETHER IN TORT, CIVIL LIABILITY BY WAY OF NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU WILLINGLY AGREE THAT YOU HAVE RELINQUISHED YOUR RIGHT TO SEEK THESE DAMAGES FROM MINISO AND THAT IS A REASONABLE ALLOCATION OF RISK.

If a dispute should arise between you and MINISO, we want to provide you with a resolution that is efficient and cost effective. In our experience, almost all customer service disputes can be resolved to your satisfaction by our customer service team, reachable by emailing customerservice@miniso.ca.

If your dispute cannot be resolved using our customer service team. These Terms describe how we shall proceed with the resolution of the dispute.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS, YOU AND MINISO AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM MUST COMMENCE WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACQUIRES. OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

NO CLASS ACTIONS: You may only resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations are not allowed.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, and all Members attorn to the jurisdiction of the Province of Ontario.

In the event that any portion of these Terms and Conditions is deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable, then it will be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and excluded, with no impact whatsoever to the validity and enforcement of remaining portions. Your rights and/or obligations may not be transferred in any way under these Terms and Conditions. All of MINISO rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions are freely assignable for any reason, including without limitation, in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, by operation of law or otherwise. Headings and titles in these Terms and Conditions are provided only for convenience and shall not in any way affect the meaning or scope of any portion of these Terms and Conditions.
